Went for a movie with Fern and by the time we reached home, it was already 5.30pm... Quickly, took out the wok and cook a simple dish, brocolli with mixed fish/meat paste, at the same time, oven-grilled salmon plus black bean soup to end up with...
brocolli in the wok for just some seconds..

then add in ginger, garlic, bean paste (taucheong) and it will end up like this...
and a bowl of dark bean chicken soup .... for good replenishment of blood for ladies

ReplyDeletei've not tried cooking using fish paste before. my mom used to stuff it into brinjals, green or red chilly and bittergourd and it is yummy too.
ReplyDeleteyes..it is commonly cooked with what u hv mentioned Constance..but i ransacked the fridge yesterday and coulnt find what i wanted so ended up cooking with brocolli instead :)
ReplyDeletefyi, my dishes are all simple..haha cos i m not a good cook nor creative.. as long as my kids love it, that is all matters.. and its a wonderful thing that their demands on this mum is not high..yeh...

ReplyDeleteThe soup was cook in the morning.. at least must be more than 2 hours otherwise the beans wont be soft and the nutrients wont be there...unless u eat them up all..haha...
