Take A Chance On Me

YESTERDAY I HAD A painful HEADACHE....I dare not tell anyone in my house, it was due to my over-blogging on Saturday night, I had overdone it, gosh.... if they know, especially, my good friends know, it will be an never ending lecture for the rest of my life....

So when Tammy called me for a movie "Mama Mia", I agreed without hesitating. Perhaps a movie would be able to 'cure' my pain, at least it would take me 2-3 hours off the computer, right?

So off we went, 3 of us, ticket cost RM9.00 each...even my young girl was not spared for being a student, it was still an adult ticket for her...so expensive one...... Then armed with 2 packets of hotdog buns, one regular pop corn plus drinks, we marched into the cineplex...

Let me tell u.... when the show started... MAMA MIA..... IT WAS A WOW-WOW..IT WAS FABULOUS!! I never been so entertained before since the Grease movie (that was decades ago), ... Mama Mia, I love it!!

This show is really worth watching...for the young and for-the-not-so-young like me, (more like Donna's time)... The show is more on Donna (Meryl Streep), I never expect her to act in this type of show....she is so sassy...and the music, the songs.. I tell u..ah... I couln't help not singing with them....you can say I am gross or crazy, but I really couln't resist not singing with them.. (of course not as loud as I normally sing in the bathroom la)

I don't mind watching this show again, in the cineplex... the sound system is so wonderful....I m going to buy their CD... eventhough not the original ABBA singers, the songs lyrics in the movie makes one feel emotional..... (didnt realise the lyrics were so meaningful before)

Today I read in the papers, the West End is performing Mama Mia live in Kuala Lumpur but the tickets are so expensive.... perhaps if I blog more paid posts, get more headaches, maybe I can go for the "live" show... YEH.....

  21. I watched this movie with my best friend and we really had a great time. Even if we are both in our early 20's we can relate with the songs because we heard our moms listen to them before. My mom would even sing it. lol We can't stop saying that we should have brought our moms with us. The movie was pure entertainment.

  29. it IS a good movie, but i can't say much for ex-bond's singing though. well at least he tried and his first ever musical too!

  30. Hi Sweetpea, not so sure whether its his voice or not.. well, he is not a singer so dont expect him to croon his best..this is a very natural type of show, not necessary to hv the best singers as u can see, the ladies are matured types and it is interesting to see them sing for a change...
