Love One Another

Each morning in school, my girl attends a christian prayer before going into her class and I know she is in the "low profile" category, keeping quiet at all times....

Last week, on one Tuesday afternoon as she got into my car after school, she gave me a worried groan, "Mi ah... I am instructed to lead a prayer sermon this friday... how ah...how...??" (this is the daughter I know, who is always overanxious type)

First thing that came to my mind, "ask goh goh to help." Her brother should know what to do.. he is the steady one... Me? I depend on him too if given a choice...

But on that particular night, mother and daughter sprawling on the bed, scorched over the Bible for some suitable verses and finally, we came up with LOVE...1 corinthians 13:4 and my girl added one more loving verse in 1John 3:11 LOVE EACH OTHER.....

I am proud of her, she has done some elaboration on these verses and sharing them in front of her school mates during the christian fellowship on Friday morning....

All praises to our God for showing her the way, giving her the courage to lead despite her fear and shyness....

  11. that's really great. one day ur daughter will look back and think of u dearly. and i'm sure after this she's more confident to do it again. i am like that too. always shy to be in the spotlight. but when given a chance i want to do my best and never back away. maybe u should encourage ur daughter more often to boost her confidence.
