Anyone Got Fooled On April Fool's Day?

At 2pm I picked up my girl from school and we were chatting happily when suddenly she exclaimed, "MUM, why is your leg bleeding???" Thank goodness, I was at a stop-look-go junction, I was actually taken aback by her exclamation. Took a quick look at my leg.........and then she cheekily said, "April Fool la!"

Cis... She was grinning away and then I asked her whether she got "tipu-ed" in school or not. She replied, "Iyo, April fool outdated already la, no one does that in school anymore." Really? Then, in that case, what are the IN things the teens are doing these days?

Well, perhaps she is right... I never read or heard much about things people do during April Fool's day.... the last time I got conned was during Patrick Teoh's radio 4 talk show in the morning... anyone remember that??? After that April Fool's joke on the listeners, he was forced to "exit." I miss his talk show after that... I don't understand why some people cannot take jokes one...
How many of you can remember his talk show? How he got the Ousted out of Radio 4... anyone knows? Maybe tomorrow I will talk about him.....

Maybe STP will know about his story..

  1. Tomorrow is my birthday. And that's no April fool because it's the second day of April.

A good thing my mom got delayed one day, otherwise my birth would really be a joke.

I grew up listening to him frm the "Kee Huat Fantastic Facts n Fancies Days" and I love his ghost stories best. Listening to them, I can't wake up for school :(

  18. Was it the time he told people about putting ducks on a hot plate and making them dance? Not sure exactly what got him out in the end...but I do know of times when he was suspended for a week or so because he got his foot in his mouth. Had to go to court once even...I think as a witness in a case against some police guys or what, because of something he said.

  19. Students today like zombies - nothing to do with exams, not interested...and April Fools' Day is too English for them - not surprised if some do not even know there is such a day - same way as they do not know "Jack&Jill" or "Baa baa black sheep"...only know "Three strange tigers"...and the "Three-wheeled Vehicle"...
