All For The Love Of A .....

A very busy day for me, from morning till now.... So much happenings and so much spent...

Labbie is having some skin problem plus bad odour.  Took him to the vet this morning... a young doctor attended to her and first thing he said was, "Your dog is too fat, put her on diet."  Ouch... she is 34 kg.. doc told me that his labrador is only 25kg and considered fat too.  Alamak!  That makes Labbie overweight by 10 kg??  How to lose 10kg?  *faint*

After some minutes of consulation, I was "slapped" with a fee of RM101.00!!  Labbie, Labbie... for her skin problem, I have to buy a special shampoo, a special dog biscuits for her allergies and 4 types of medicine to eat and apply on her skin.... sigh...

Moral of the story:
Think over carefully first before buying a puppy, getting one is easy... paying money is HARD! LOL....

  8. Don't have a dog - my missus does not like animals/pets. My daughter has been longing for a pet all her life but the mum said no.

  9. Ohh my gosh she is the picture of cuteness! I think this is the year of the fat dog. The vet told me the same thing about Lily Dog. I think it is an international ploy to rip us all off and none of us will know any better because it is happening to all of us! LoL
    Good Luck

  11. Yeah! Getting one is easy. Paying is not an issue either. But...we have to give our pet our TLC. :)

  12. Money is the secondary but commitment and attention to them are the hard part. Try to bring feed your dog lesser treats and bring him out for longer walk to cut down the weight.

  13. tekkaus, yes, all in one.. TLC plus must fork out money too.. :)

Leon: it is a life time commitment, yes, that is why making decision to get one initially, one must really ponder over carefully.. they are a member of the family later on..

  20. Hey, RM100.00 is considered cheap already! Last time, I spent over thousands of ringgit on my dogs. One of them went in warding cause hitted by a car and broke it's leg. As I told you so, I'm not into that puppies selling business!

  25. but labbie is very fortunate to have a wonderful, loving and responsible owner like you =) happy for her.

alot of doggies ends up in shelter when the owners found out they have health probs (T.T)

and, big size dog, labrador included, should not be overweight, else they'll hip dysplasia. medication lagi mahal by then 0.o

    btw, labbie is ADORABLE! =D

  26. smallboar, yeah, will reduce her weight gradually.now giving biscuits instead of rice..
