Pay More To Satisfy The Urge

The first thing Aaron came back for his hols was to look for his beloved fruit.. DURIANS! We thought the durian season was already on but it was not... They were still sold at RM6 per kilo for the normal ones, so expensive, we ended up buying four only and it cost RM18, very expensive cos they were mini sized durians. If the season is on, it will only cost only around RM10.

Well, no choice, the urge was there... so paid double just to savor and to satisfy....

one thumbs up for half satisfaction....

  8. So sorry that I'll have to say I don't buy durians these days. I have full supply (all kind of local fruits) whenever there's season! hehe... Jealous or not? haha.... Actually, quite scared! I only take the mini size ones. They taste better. Hope you;re having a pleasant evening.
    Blessings, Kristy

  10. Gosh... I don't know. We had a friend who insisted durian was amazing and brought one over for us. It had been frozen, I think. The smell was not appetizing and the taste minimal. I think we need to get over to your part of the world to taste it.

  11. Durian is plentiful in your country. We only have them in our southern provinces of Mindanao. They are also very expensive and not that readily available here in Metro Manila. I jut satisfy myself with durian candies, lol. Thanks for the post. God bless you always. BTW, I sent your blogs to John Smith of USA for possible ad post in your blogs. I already sent his email address to you via email.

  13. I didn't use to like durian so much since I had a bad childhood experience of accidentally eaten a durian worm... until I met my husband, man~! He is a durian freak, after he introduced Musang King, 'Hong Har' and D18 to me, I couldn't have enough with durian... it just simply rich and tasty!^-^

Have a great week ahead Claire!

  33. Hope the durians tasted nice. Over the years, I've learnt that my el cheapo attitude didnt serve me well. Nowadays, i'd rather pay a little more to get the satisfaction of a creamy yummy durian.
