Getting To Know You...

For the whole afternoon I have been thinking of how to start tonight's post .. finally I gave up, I will just let the words flow...

Being a blogger like you and me, I am sure many of us love to make friends with either local or foreigners online. Frankly speaking, in these two years, I have made a quite a number... some whom I met and had meals together and there are some whom I know through commenting in their blogs and emails.

Being a blogger like you and me, I am sure many of us know this A Mother's Monologue.... if that doesn't sound familiar, does mamapumpkin ring a bell then? Frankly speaking, I do not know her pretty well and I just came across her blog recently. But I have heard of her a few months ago in another pretty mum's blog... remember vaguely that a few mommies gathered together to have an outing with their kids...

Ok, why am I mentioning her tonight since I do not know her well enough to talk about her? Well, just one reason... she intrigues me.... We know each other better through a few emails and I found out that she is very thoughtful, kind and yet "no hanky panky" lady... meaning one means one, two means two, no messing around, please. Just from a few emails, I can deduce that she is a "down to earth" lady who looks hard outside but with a super soft heart inside. She will not bow to pressure nor she will look up for favors. She is one lady whom you love making friends with if you are truly sincere in your friendship.

Well, that is all I know about her for now and I hope I get to know her better in the coming days. Blogging is like a big circle of writers linking to one another..... so lets treat each other with a sincere heart, without fear or favour....

  2. Gosh! Thank you, Claire!!! At 1am, I was feeling upset because I had a misunderstanding with my husband and now, I'm reading this and it has totally lifted my mood. I am very touched. Thank you. I can sleep in peace tonight with happy sweet dreams......

  3. strained bloggership happens even when you least expect it. maybe it just boils down to respect. we must respect each other's space. blogging also tells much about a person's character. and for that matter, commenters too!
    cheers! lol.

  5. I did check out this lady's blog. she seems like a nice and sincers person. So did you have a little misunderstanding with her? Is that who she is referring to? Oh, my, maybe you can clear it up be e-mail? These kinds of things must happen to all bloggers, but are so upsetting! But now I see a very good comment from her above me! So this is good.
