The Heat Is ON

Gosh..is this mating season now???

Mine is coming to an end... and my Labbie is just beginning to start puberty... what an odd combination.

For the past few evenings, when I took Labbie for her evening walk, we had an "uninviting" guest. Out of nowhere, the fella appeared and kept on smelling out Labbie's A$$. I was so worried Labbie would get raped there and then...from then on, I took a weapon along with me - an umbrella! Again, the fella appeared and even when I threatened it with my umbrella, this "hardup" doggie didn't want to give up... kept following us and smelling Labbie's A$$ at every opportunity he can get! Poor Labbie.. wanted to do "big business" also cannot get the peace! hahaha....

During the nights, my house suddenly has extra "bodyguards." One by one, they came in all sizes, one big and brown and then one shorter size and black in colour. And all they did was... coming by my gate, to whine and..... smelling one another front and back...... ooohh gosh!

By the way, anyone knows how long the "heat" season will last?

  1. Funny... lately there are quite a number of stray dogs wandering around my neighbourhood. Now must be the season of doggie...

  4. Hi Claire! A dog's heat season lingers on for more or less two weeks. And it occurs twice a year. I always wait for my female shih tzu to heat but looks like my male dog is infertile cos he can't impregnate her. sigh!

  20. There's this story: All the dogs were in Heaven once...and one day, one of them farted. God was angry and asked the dog that farted to confess but all kept quiet. So, God said...ok...I'll send you all down to earth and until the one that farted confesses, all of you will have to stay there!

That is why up till today, whenever a dog meets another dog, it would smell its ass...to see whether it was the one that farted! Muahahahahaha!!!!!

  24. Oh wow.....looks like there's going to be a doggy wedding there soon...haha. Be careful, the male dogs can be very aggressive. Your umbrella won't work.

  25. mnhl: when we are outside. yes.. very fast can get rape one.. hahha.

ipohgal: hope she agrees to that..

stp: hey..first time i get to hear about that..hahaha.. no wonder la..

merryn: yes hor.. can share my puppies to u too!! want? :p

foongpc: why? bec i have to take her to the maternity room in 2 months time and then the puppies would have to end up in foster homes.. and then labbie will be heartbroken.. not only that, every year she has to give up her babies.. unless i have her "knotted" up.. but then multiple partners.. how ah?

    daddy: needs a ladder!! hahahaa...

mary: serious? then ... better stay indoors meanwhile..
