Who's The Driver, He Or She?

Something crossed my mind today....

During those years when I went for a date, it was usually the guy who would be driving the car with the lady beside him. But nowadays...or may I say, this new era, it is not surprising if a lady dates a man and she uses her own car to drive him around instead.... (no way?)

Only thing I haven't seen or heard is that the lady opens the car door for the man... heheheeee...
But then, it will not be surprising too if that happens.... and I am sure the man doesn't like to be treated that way... ok, this is a crappy question...

Why am I story-ing this today? Well, I wonder... just wondering whether it is a "norm" these days to drive your boyfriend around instead of him driving you around... What do you say?

  14. it's getting common that girls are driving the guys around, but for a girl to do that regularly, she must really like him a lot!

either that, or he must be one heck of a guy!

  16. Times have changed.... I've seen a car full of girls (Ah Lians) and one boy, my student (phai k'ia) - useless one sitting in their midst...and looking like he was a king, so proud of himself. I wonder why the girls would one someone like him...and how parents could bring up children to be like those. SIGH!!!
