The wedding of the decade at Westminster Abbey..... Prince William and Kate Middleton...
How many of you took leave to watch this? :) No, I did not... in fact I reached home around 5.30pm... quickly, I switched on TV7, just in time to see "Princess Kate" getting into the car from her home to the church....
But alas, I had only one hour to witness the wedding... at 6.30pm, I had to "shoot off" again... Here are some pictures I have taken while watching from the big screen...

ReplyDeleteClaire... her title is not Princess... lol... it's Duchess. Ooo... you watched the live too. I like her dress... very elegant...hers is much better than Late Princess Diana's dress... Diana's dress too puffy to my liking. LOL!
ReplyDeleteI managed to watch... it's a beautiful wedding.. even Sultan Brunei and wife attending.. ^_^
ReplyDeleteHmmm... *nods, nods* beautiful wedding, very much reminisce of Diana's wedding with Charles...and they were strictly traditional during the service too... no smoochey smooch business. *disappointed* LOL~!
ReplyDeleteI watched the whole wedding with my students... during tuition!!! Eyes on TV, mind on notes, teaching and enjoying the live telecast at the same time... Haha
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos of the royal wedding, Claire. NO--it happened at about 3 a.m. MY time, so I didn't see the wedding. I have seen some of the pictures on TV early this morning. Looked like a beautiful wedding.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy
kathy: amen..
ReplyDeletecleff: hey, thanks for pointing out my mistake!! Lady Diana wedding dress was in fashion ma that time.. i was wearing puffy puffy one too!! hehehe..
cath: oh they did? wow.. so they got invited..how about Malaysia?
pam: so.. how many pairs of eyes will be on the books?? hehee.. this is the wedding of the decade! sure must watch..
My daughter is eager to watch it too..surprisingly for a 8 year old, she knows more than me, keep telling me that the wedded couple is going to wave at the balcony just like Prince Charles and Princess Diana did..
ReplyDeleteI like all the pictures that you put here. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteYour blog is the first place I have seen wedding photos on! I didn't get up at 4 a.m. here to watch it. I wished I had. Glad you posted the photos.

ReplyDeleteWow! You took all these pictures from your T.V.? Really good!! You would be a good journalist, you have documented it well in pictures!!
ReplyDeleteoh my.. look at her. isn't she charming? ^.^ May God bless this newly wedded couple
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.... Nothing like a church wedding! And look at the lovely wedding dress, so decent, so elegant, such good taste - not like what we see here...
ReplyDeleteAnd nothing like a wedding to bring a little cheer to this miserable world of ours - earthquakes, tsunamis, tornados, wars etc etc...
May they life happily ever after.
ReplyDeleteYea I watched it, but only from 6pm onwards. haha. Kate's wedding gown is simple yet so elegant! She looks really pretty! So as the handsome Prince... haha =)
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I adore Kate's McQueen gown. Real elegant! My daughter too watched it on TV and to her, it must be a fairy tale comes true. Just like when I watched Princess Di's wedding, it felt like Cinderella story. Haha!
ReplyDeleteI like the tiara and the long train of the wedding gown, looked so gorgeous, i only watched until i saw the wedding gown and that's it,, by the way Kate's mother looks so gorgeous as well.........
ReplyDeleteI hope Kate will not have to live life like Dianna did,, not easy being one Duchess, kan?
go now go and enjoy your long weekend
i watched it while at the shop..it was a lovely occasion!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing. I missed the whole thing and your photos told the story... she's gorgeous with the simple gown but prince William looks a bit balding.. hehe
