Maxis Or Digi?

My third post for today.... 2 bad news... one in office and one at home....

Morning reached office only to find out that the modem is "kaput." Internet connection is practically NIL... I was so devastated.. how am I to survive without the Internet in the office??? Called up Elin.. crying SOS.... and she "comforted" me by lending me her "oxygen tank" for the first half of the day. (oxygen tank means broadband!)

With her broadband sticking to my computer for half a day, I managed to blog hop and wrote a post on American Idol. Time flew... and when lunch time came, I had to return the "oxygen" to her...

Afternoon dragged on ..... thirsting for the connection that never came....

Came home... watched badminton... Malaysia lost again ...3-2 to the Koreans...

Wanted to use my laptop in the room... and guess what?? The laptop refused to have connection too!! No matter how many times I restarted... it refused to connect! Sigh....

Now I am using desktop facing the modem...

I guess I have to get a "STICK"... a BROADBAND STICK....

Should I get a Maxis or a Digi?? Any promotions on these two companies? Please let me know... I am hungering and thirsting for Internet Connection!

  5. I think streamxy has has a promo running. 1G at rm110 and 2G at rm130. The plus side is that you can use land line to call another land line anywhere in Msia for FREE. This package is great esp for those who already have a telephone at home to which you had to pay rm24 rental on top of the call charges.

  7. were you using streamyx before this? mobile broadband may be cool , but it had its issue of being unstable too sometimes.

  10. Been using mobile broadband all this while... It is ok - good, fast...and connection's better, a lot better in West Malaysia than here..

They say DIGI's the best. I dunno no DIGI broadband here - right now, we only have MAXIS and Celcom.

Best thing is wherever you go,you can bring it along and go online. Can't do that with Streamyx - I know many on Streamyx...and they call it Screamyx.

  22. felt so bad, why msia said abt super corridor n yet our internet are so lousy as compared to many developed countries.
in other countries, not even 1 sec already smoothly on line n yet so fast in downloading.

When can Msia gives better services b4 all gone out of it as brain drain?

  23. rm130 or even rm88 is too expensive.
countries like in Taiwan only rm20/-
    search around n read more!
