I Like Taang Shifu!

I was given a special treat last night, a scrumptious dinner at Taang Shi Fu Restaurant in AEON Ipoh Station 1... we didn't plan to take our dinner but when we passed by this logo, it attracted us and we went in....
Is there a franchise in KL or anywhere else besides Ipoh?
There was a queue waiting when we finished our dinner..
the ambience was not at all..
very "chinese-sey" if you know what I mean...
free appetizer...
sliced fresh guava with "kam pei"(orange skin)
the "black chicken" with wolfberries and slices of ginseng...
RM24.90
that comes with these condiments..
you can choose white rice or brown rice..
I opted for brown for health reasons.. hahaa...

Steamed aubergine with X.O. scallop sauce
Quite a large portion for both of us...RM13.90
I love this!
Fish Maw with Cod Fish in claypot...
A generous portion of fish maw....

this was my dessert...
Snow Jelly with Gingko - RM8.90
(to improve my memory, if it ever does!)

I wouldn't mind coming here again next time..
Will bring my kids to savour some of the dishes here too..
Their Mi-Sua noodles looks good too.. must try...

As for last night, many thanks to TC
for the exotic meal......

  4. Taang Shifu has quite a number of outlets in the Klang Valley. Never been to this outlet but have been patronising Taang Shifu since the opening of their One Utama outlet.

  11. I don't know why,I don't fancy all these eateries anymore,,,, those like O town and all these sifus sifus names,,,,I think they are overrated and overpriced too.

sometimes hawkers food are so much better than these type of eateries

hey have a great week ahead ya

  15. Just from the look of the vicinity, I could understand why you got easily attracted by the restaurant. Even more with its unique cultural meals with uncommon main ingredients. It's also accompanied with special condiments that helps on appetizing customers for more.
