After some fifteen minutes drive or so, turning left and right,
we reached our destination...
So ... this is the place where the fun begins... hahaha...
Gunung Rapat Hi-Tea + Sauna...
Surprised to see big cars customers here leh....
I was intrigued by this bench...
benches was a norm those days..
no fan... no air con....
just a DIY canvas tent...
and yet... people do come by....
the stall manned by husband and wife...
famous for their laksa and their home-made beancurd...
My friends praised their home-made beancurd...
it is a MUST-try thingy...
Well, all I can say....
I will enjoy the Laksa much better....
If....I eat it in my own home under the ceiling fan or air conditioner....
Unless I really want to sweat it out.... and that was what happened....
Really *SWEAT* after finishing this bowl of Laksa....
Just like in a Sauna..... LOL....
Wah...... Now I miss Assam laksa too!
ReplyDeleteHOI! IPoh! near my house! LOL
ReplyDeleteI live near gunung rapat!
ReplyDeleteIt looks really really good!!! But the hot day, then being under the tent thing, guess it was steamy, too bad. Hey! Can you get an order to take with you? Then eat it at home.
ReplyDeleteEven Gunung Rapat is picking up as a gourmet town... Come on Ipoh, do something for us.
