When I watched the first video of Sayaka Sato grimacing and crying out in pain, it nearly made me cry as well.... She was leading in the badminton court when she landed at odd angles and collapsed, grimacing in pain... She continued to play despite the pain but after a few shots, her coaches urged her to stop... she was sobbing uncontrollably in court.. shattered dream...felt so sorry for her...
Reminded me of our Dato' Lee Chong Wei when he injured his ankle during the Thomas Cup few months ago. He was also crying, partly because on physical pain as well as the fear of not being able to play anymore....

Lee Chong Wei's apology to the Malaysians...
Chong Wei's apology reminds me of one of Rudyard Kipling's poem - IF
