Ok, I just googled for some information... Pitlochry is a popular holiday destination with spectacular scenery where you can find clear sparkling air, beautiful scenery, rich clan history, fine food that comes with real hospitality. it is in the heart of Scotland, the locals are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful and it has been a tourist destination for over 150 years.
Some scenery I managed to capture while we stopped to find B & B...
country homes and farm houses...
driving up the gravel to our one night stay....
we checked out a few country homes and we settled for this...
at the sideyard...
from the front...
Scenery from our bedroom window...
A family room furnished with a double bed...
and a single bed....
with an attached bathroom...
the living hall...
and from the window... I captured "Paul" waiting for "Peter"...
For one night stay with Breakfast included,
the room cost 85 pounds...
I guess it is pretty reasonable for the 3 of us...
The country home was quite comfortable and clean...
yalah, as long as there's someone who knows the place, we just follow and don't care lah.. hantam sama kasi dia!! quite reasonable for the price of £85, the room is nice and the attached bath is even nicer!!
ReplyDeleteI like the English style home. Very traditional and nice!

ReplyDelete85 for 3...that's about 30 each. Gosh!!! In 1994, B&B was 10 pounds or 15 in London. Prices rocketting up there too, I guess.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome place you chose! I love the colors of it, the blue fancy trim and the red room.
ReplyDeletesk: for RM100 per person.. well, i guess it is quite reasonable in UK.
ReplyDeletewenn: my son loves it very much..
medie: yeah, u could go one day too! :)
stp: so it is justified.. 20 years later.. raised up another 20 pounds.. hahaha..
ReplyDeleteginny: yes.. quite cosy.. i like it too!

ReplyDeletefor me that's a perfect place to live, I like the color of the room!
ReplyDeleteI like to stay in B&B too. In UK, they have very nice and clean B&B. The B&B you stayed in looks very cosy. Ah, how I wish to visit Scotland again.
