My BIL told us that he wouldn't mind spending a few days up here in Camerons... hmmmm....
Alright.... the places that we went to.....
Firstly I made a stop to the chocolate factory and we got down to answer some "nature call."
Didn't realize I was wearing one arm-band
till I saw this picture....
Driving ma.. so have to avoid the sun, right?
Second stop... Time Tunnel...
Since I went in before, I just waited outside for my siblings...
I just walked around to take some pictures outside...
3rd destination... to the Golf Club Cameron Highlands...
I didn't know that there is one till my BIL exclaimed...
"STOP.. I wanna get down here... "
at the entrance....
Went in to the Pro Golf Shop to get some souvenirs...
At the terrace....
Nice place to play golf...
Then the drive went on....
To Brinchang where we stopped for our lunch...
Nice ambience...
but I forgot the name of the shop...too bad...
My BIL ordered a western set lunch...
whereas the three ladies ordered the Chinese set...
Chicken with ginger and spring onions...
and stir-fried sambal morning glory vegetables....
(in short - kangkong!)\
That was our humble lunch...
Cos we wanted to save our stomach for TEA!
Oh...so jealous to see that you can wear so little there :D But I know what you mean by the hot Ipoh weather. I'm happy to be back here where weather is concerned, especially at this time of the year. It has been perfect the past few days but then today, it's getting a little gloomy again....hmmm. Still very nice weather too, compared to the intense heat back home. Bet Camerons is very different these days. Hope to visit it again one day.
ReplyDeleteIs your BIL an avid golf player? I did not know that there is a time tunnel in CH. Last time I was in CH was in 2006.
ReplyDeletewell have you tried to play golf?
ReplyDeletei bet it's an expensive sports as they say
A lovely place to drop by and unwind :) Cooling and fun to stay a night over!
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty scenery, good food and shopping, would be a perfect day for me!

ReplyDeleteMy father likes the golf course in Cameron Highlands too... must be something about the weather that makes the grass grow greener and nicer. Hehe
ReplyDeleteya, at least it's so much cooler there..good trip!
ReplyDeleteNot so cool jor but at least not as hot as down here
ReplyDeletesharon : around an hour or so...
ReplyDeleteirene: me too.. breezy in the evening...
sk: sooner or later no more fresh..cos lots of development there now..
ginny: yes, i think it will suit you!
ReplyDeletestp: next time come again!
mary: I still prefer your weather... it makes one lose calories fast cos i end up walking more than sitting down here to avoid the heat! hahaha...
ReplyDeletemun: no, he is not a golfer but he bought back some souvenirs for his friends..
mecoy: no no.. havent even told the golf stick before.. hahaha..
ReplyDeleteken: yeah..but i heard it is no more cold at night too..
sweetwitch: i believe it is so...
ReplyDeletewenn: very tiring one day trip...
kathy: right! :)
Nice trip up the mountain. I love such countryside outings too, because can relax my mind (away from the busy city life), refresh my body and have some good food.
ReplyDeleteHaven't been to Cameron for ages, but my Japanese friend who just got back last mth commented that it's super boring. Don't know if I should revisit as I heard there's nothing much to do there except for the cool weather....
ReplyDeleteBeing a very long didn't visit Golden Horse Mountain in fact been long time didn't step out of my cave haha.
ReplyDeleteThought after going thru Time Tunnel you either turned younger in your sweet 16 or appear some where in one of the Dynasty in China. No?
