At Aberdeen and London Heathrow Airport

My Scotland trip posts have finally come to an end... After our scrumptious dinner in Mary's place, we checked-in to Jury Inn once more before leaving for the airport the very next morning.  Jury Inn has been our home for nearly a week and we love the place here very much.  Main reason is that this hotel is is inside the shopping mall building, something like Cititel Hotel in Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur.  Very convenient especially for travelers like us who love eating and shopping at the same time!
Entrance to the Jury Inn
We have "grown" familiar with the front desk people and they with us...
Being the only Asians guests there at that time. :)
So.. we bade our goodbye to Aberdeen...from our car.. LOL....
Perhaps we will come by here again...Let's wait and see...
With the GPS, we drove to the airport...
While we went to check-in our luggages, Aaron returned the rented car...
From Aberdeen, we flew to London..
Aberdeen airport is small and very user friendly...
You can have a nice cup of hot drink while waiting for the call..
The flight to London takes around one hour plus..
Distance almost like flying from Ipoh to Singapore...
I guess we were the only Asians to board British Airways then...
Landed in London Heathrow... we were one of the earliest to reach our boarding hall..
From London ...we flew to Singapore....

Reaching Singapore Changi Airport at around 5pm...
Since it was almost evening, I stayed one night in Singapore...

The next morning I took a morning flight back to IPOH...
Firefly flew me back to IPOH....
Pheww... Finally....
Well... that is Our Trip...
Though it was only a 12 days trip, it seems that we have "covered" a lot...
I am glad that I came... I was hesitating in the beginning... worrying about this and that...
And of course, I relented in the end....
This trip is an "eye opener" for me... to see a small part of the world...
To me, this small part is the biggest event so far...
So much to discover, so much to "wow" over....
No Regrets.. Only Full of Thanks...

  10. There's no place like home, sweet home. The mere thought of the long haul flights puts me off flying - I cannot sleep on board, never mind how many hours. Killing!
