For my girl, it was the second time and she knows exactly what she likes... so I leave the ordering to her... and these are what she ordered....
Fried raddish... both of us like these...
I wouldn't mind having this again....
Wait till I get my pay... LOL...
My girl ordered porridge with century eggs...
The broth was very smooth...
My girl knows I love this....
The noodles are very springy...
The Roasted Pork is crispy... the two Wanton-s are tasty....
Another one of her favourites not to be missed...
Mini Egg Tarts.... flaky and fresh...
We can really eat, right??
How to budget when it comes to food?
Our fabulous dinner in Canton-i make me think twice about retiring now... hahahaa....
Canton-i Restaurant
AEON Ipoh Station 18
Pasir Puteh, Ipoh
Wow, that's a lot! Canton-i's decent, i like their wanton noodles, very springy and bouncy
ReplyDeleteHow expensive is expensive? Any connection with Dragon-i at Mid Valley?
ReplyDeleteNice dinner. See, the power of food. Can make you hold back your retirement plan, hehehe. So happy working.
ReplyDeleteKen: yes.. I like that too!
ReplyDeletestp: Each bowl is around RM16 like that..
irene: hahaha.. you are very right!
STP: I heard they are more or less connected to each other.. actually Dragon-i is just next door to Canton-i in Ipoh here..
ReplyDeleteCanton-i ah?? i think i have not been there for more than three times lor, haha.. the food okay okay only lah, but then very expensive in my opinion.. that is why, if you do not want to keep thinking about your retirement, go to these kind of places more often!! haha~~ :D
ReplyDeleteThe radish cake looks tasty. I have been to canton i
ReplyDeletemany times but never ordered radish cake so maybe I will order it next time.
I think their menu is similar to Dragon I la!
ReplyDeleteThis looks wonderful and my mouth is watering now, Claire!!! The noodles and pork look SO good I would order two plates!!! So does the radish! Is that egg mixed with the radishes?
ReplyDeletesk: I also agree.. quite pricey food there...
ReplyDeletemun: what else is nice there? Ipoh standard of living, the prices there are quite "sharp." hahaha...
I like to eat the lao sar bao. And every year when they have the RM1 whole chicken promotion I will go and order that.
Deletehayley: I think they are connected in a way...
ReplyDeleteginny: yes, the eggs are there to "enhance" the taste of the radish! :)
I will look you up when you get your pay, lol
ReplyDelete(Just joking)
I like the roasted pork noodle and the fried raddish. Slurp!!
ReplyDeletesharon: that means you got to come monthly? oh oh... hahaha..
ReplyDeleterose: me too!!
I like the flaky skin tart . Yum
ReplyDeletemun, I didnt know that! RM1 for one whole chicken? wow! When will that be? hahahaa.. there must be terms and conditions, right? Next time I will lau sar bao..... :)
ReplyDeleteI hv been there only once. Quite pricey though but the food was not too bad.
ReplyDeleteNo minimun spending required. Only need at least 3 persons per table to order this rm1 chicken. Promotion is usually the whole month of March. So you can look out for it next year.
ReplyDeleteI have been twice to Canton-I at One U. I think their food is very small compared to the photos..ahaha
ReplyDeleteI love to eat at Canton-i and Dragon-i here in KL. It is quite expensive and packed all the time because the food is good. I see that you had a lovely meal too.
ReplyDeletewenn: yeah, the food is not bad but a bit pricey...
ReplyDeletemun: thanks for letting me know.. hope can remember in March! :)
ling: yes, that was why.. ordered a lot.. hahaha..
ReplyDeleteTM: yes, lovely meal but as I said, quite pricey...
