My Ulam Meals In Suria Service Apartment, Bukit Merah

Someone asked me about the food served...nothing much to shout about actually. When it comes to food served during courses, the expectation does not run far.  Though we were fed four to five meals per day, I was only "tempted" to take three main meals, no less no more... LOL...but when I put my legs on the weighing scale, I was taken aback that I have gained TWO kilograms since February!

Coming back to the hotel food, I had my first dinner meal on Wednesday evening...
Chef overlooking and checking that all goes well...
My choices for my dinner...
Love to eat the raw leaves with sambal belacan (pounded chillies)
Very simple dinner... a small slice of fish and lots of greens...
This was for my dinner.....
My second day lunch is not much different from the first....
One piece of chicken and greens....
That is enough to last me through dinner...
After our course ended at 5.30pm, we had a few hours to hang around till dinner was served at 8pm....
Came down for a walk at the poolside...
But nothing much to hang around... the sun was hot...
So after awhile, I went back to the room for a chill....
And waited for dinner to be served at 8pm at the poolside..
But it was a very disappointing dinner....

  1. Increase 2 kilos???? Maybe something wrong with the scale. Not only take food makes you gain weight but instead taking junk & snacks in the cause as what people say.

  4. Why no bikini poses by the poolside?

Ulam is a very healthy and delicious food that I love too. I read somewhere that this diet could prevent cancer!

    1. Those green leaves... I think they're the ones that can cure cancer or something, can't remember now. Read that somewhere. Forgot the name already.

  9. I like to eat ulam too. From the looks of it, the food looks ok like economy rice but foc. Why only eat 3 meals? can still eat a bit of tea during the two tea breaks.
