Daorae In Sunway Giza

The second night, we had dinner in Daorae Sunway... it was a night of barbeque meat, ginseng soup and lots of condiments...  and as usual, booking and reservation is a "norm" in Klang Valley here, I come to realize.  I seldom have to do any reservations in Ipoh restaurants unless it is a festive season otherwise, all are "walk-in" style...
We were given a warm welcome once we came out of the 3rd floor lift....
Greetings of Welcome were echoed in Korean...
Made us feel very ... er... welcomed...   :p
The view from the window....
The Barbeque starts....
A different type of Korean food... very different from the one I posted earlier...
I like the way they cook this "nien koe".... the sauce is very nice... sweet and appetizing...
I ate a lot of greens to neutralize the BBQ....
Eat slowly... Enjoy all the condiments....
 Nice Food... Wonderful Company!
After coming back from this trip,
I had gums problem....
Now I know the reason why....
And I have no regrets....
hhmmmm......

  1. Ahhhhh!!!! Good! Good! Got the exhaust pipe. Our Korean place here does not have so we would go home smelling like something we had barbecued. Tsk! Tsk!

    1. I am sure these type of cooking needs the pipe to suck out the smoke or whatever.. otherwise fire brigade will come.... :)

  3. Too much of BBQ thing. Not really into Korean food. Normally, they are spicy, sweet & sour taste.

  4. oh Daorae!! at first I blur blur read as Doraemon, hahaha.. anyway, have been to it's outlet in Sri Hartamas and the food are nice, thought I would usually go to another restaurant in Taman Desa if I want to have Korean BBQ.. haha, yes, booking is recommended especially if you are going in a big group for some events.. if casual makan, just walk in and try your luck :)

    1. That's the suction to suck out the smoke...so everyone sitting around eating will not end up smelling like something they've just barbecued on the stove...

    3. Not all Korean restaurants have those things so at the end of the dinner, all of your clothes will be very smelly. Same thing if you have a BBQ...and you're the one doing all the cooking by the BBQ pit. It's good that this one has that.
