Simple Meal For Two And A Sweet Dessert For Three

My friend and I had a very simple dinner at Kampong Simee, a corner house just opposite the Chung Tak Primary school.   Both of us did not order any meat dish in particular and after a bout of durian feast for the past one week, we decided to order these....
Just beancurd with some mixed vegetables....
And a plate of sambal tapioca leaves...
 The portions were quite big and we just could not finish them all...
What remained was not wasted... we packeted them home.... 
The bill came to RM23.

My girl told me that there is a new dessert shop in Bandar Baru Medan Ipoh called the KEPTS Enterprise... kind of a funny name for a dessert shop though.  But after dropping by, we were told that they have baking classes as well. 
Wine Desserts .. we were told...
Since it is durian season, we ordered the durian dessert...
I think I prefer the fresh durian anytime!  :)

    Sweet potato leaves. Hmmmm...that durian dessert ruins it all, might as well just eat anything and everything.

    I prefer to eat fresh durians too. Good that you "tapao" the remaining food back in order not to waste them. RM23 for 2 dishes -I think they gave you the large portion - that is why the price is on the high side.

      Yeah, for two persons, really cannot finish the beancurd.. yes, packet back... enough for one person the next day...

    haha, is there something called "durian season" nowadays?? i thought durians are available whole year round now?? hmmm, giving yourself an excuse lah, thought you are stopping eating durians, but hey, look at that durian dessert!! haha~~

    Tofu with eggy or starchy gravy anytime for me.. Never can go wrong one.. The desserts are a bit pricey wor.. But quite unique and interesting, can try..
