Fulfilling Meal In Gunong Rapat And Greenhill Drive, Ipoh

Each time I post up my pictures, I felt a pang of regret... "Did I really eat all these at one go?"  Alright, I know...No turning back cos I definitely did taste all of the food in each post.  Ok, I used the word "taste" and not "finished"... that is a bit consoling... hahahaa...

The way I am eating, I need detoxifying, right?  Each morning I drink my oatmeal before I leave for work and one more time while at work.  Oats are really effective ... they "wash" the "fats" away especially those that stuck to my body after dinner such as the below meal.....

My friends and I went to Gunong Rapat for our dinner and they took me to this place just next to the church on the main road.  I had not been there before... until this very night....
To my surprise, the crowd was already there eventhough it is a weekday.....
We waited around half hour before our food finally arrived....
We ordered different types of fried noodles....
With eggs and cockles...
With meat and prawns...
And one more plate with just prawns....
Forgot to take picture of that... too hungry by then....
Ordered some fish balls in clear soup....
And some fried stuff in Laksa soup....
Three plates of noodles plus the above varieties did not "satisfy" the three of us completely...
We agreed that the food above only covered around 70% on the whole....
Being so, we adjourned to our second round...
To fill up the empty space in our stomach....

We went to Crazy Ice Cream in Greenhill Drive!
Ordered a plate of french fries......RM4 something...
A banana split.... RM6.30
And This.....  RM6.30 too....
What can I say....
Yes, I do need another bout of detoxification tomorrow morning...
Oats... and more oats Please!

  1. I had some homemade fries for dinner just now. By homemade, I mean self-made ;)
I think still okay lah, those noodles are proper food, at least not deep fried stuff like fast food or something..

  7. Were you using your SONY camera? I tried my new one that night and my pictures, one of them at least, turned out looking like yours. Still working at it, learning and using the special functions available...hoping to take nicer photos in darker settings. My CANON was better, slightly, without having to do anything, just clicked. :(
