This afternoon we were discussing about food, where and what to eat... and from there, one thing leads to another.. and it is not surprising when we decided to meet up for dinner after work! Since I did not know where the shop was, I decided to pick them up and drove to this place which my friend recommended. (I prefer to drive so that I can remember better!)
Here is the name of the shop...
Mun Ji...
the name reminds me of Jumanji, the movie!
It's just opposite some residential houses....
And a field too....
Here is the address...
Laluan Rasi Jaya 4B
Use the highway between Farlim and Menglembu....
The Happy Food Trio!
It was 5.40pm when we arrived....
My friend told me that by 7pm, this whole place will be full....
First dish to arrive...
Koe Loe Yuk
Famous Fish Head Curry.....
I like this dish...
Spinach with three types of egg... the gravy is nice....
Three dishes for four ladies....
And the bill came to RM46 with drinks and rice...
Reasonable price, I would say.... right?
Food sure looks good! That's sweet and sour pork, I guess?
ReplyDeleteYes, that is right, Arthur!
DeleteThis 3 dishes I like. Best part is the bill, so very cheap.
ReplyDeleteI think it is quite reasonable for 3 dishes...
Deleteis this place in Menglembu?? it looks very familiar.. i remember my friend's dad brought us there to makan, and the food were all so so so nice, and it was not expensive too!! and i remember the curry fish head, aiyoh, drooling now and i really miss this place~~

Deleteof course i don't know this place but my friend's dad brought us there, hahahaha.. didn't take photo that time because Uncle was there so paiseh to take photos, i still remember we ordered their very nice signature taufu (jiu pai tau fu), slurrpss!!! ReplyDeleteYou also like that! Cannot see the fats.. just eat only!
DeleteThe tan fah looks nicely done, not easy to do it, tends to be overcooked
ReplyDeleteMust be ngam ngam cooked... nice... and not thirsty after eating..
DeleteSpinach with three types of egg and gravy...please pass me a big bowl through the screen!! I am wanting it so bad! Maybe because I am on a diet and have lost 80 ponds, but it looks so good! I see you are also dark early in the day, just like us. I hate no light in the evening.
ReplyDeleteIt was almost 6.30pm when we left... Ginny, you lost 80 lbs? Hope you are feeling better now...
