Uncle CCF In Thean Chun Old Town, Ipoh

Uncle CCF still remembers me!

It was so crowded, all tables and chairs were occupied... Uncle Chee Cheong Fun saw me and my girl standing by... and he called me, "hey, so long didn't see you come by here already!"  Oh.. was the uncle really talking to me?  "You remember me?"  He said.. "Aiyah, last time you used to go SMI to eat my CCF ma.... "  haahaaa.... yes, many  years ago my colleague and I used to go in by the side gate of St. Michael School and ordered his CCF.... cheaper ma...  So he still remembers though he is now no more selling inside the school!
Then Uncle CCF allowed us to sit at his table... where he put his stuff....
He cleared half the section for me and my girl so that we could eat his CF there...
That is why I could capture this picture at this angle...   :)
Just look at the crowd...
They just stood beside the tables... waiting for the patrons to finish their food... fast!
Can opt for the sidelane too...
But I think I still prefer to sit inside the shop...
After we finished, I took a picture of Uncle CCF...
My dry version of CCF....
With lots of dried prawns and fried onions....
And downed with a chilled Egg Custard...
A meal that lasted me from morning till evening....
