Family Food Fest At Wong Fee Kee In Bercham

The Makan Brothers are Back!
With them around, I can easily gain a kilo or two... no, I am not worrying... at my age, it is "nice" to have a bit more flesh here and there..  *self-consoling*

We woke up quite early this morning ... 10am... and by 11, we reached the cleanest market, ie the Canning Garden one... the least stalls but nevertheless, it was neat... tidy and most of all, it has the New Year atmosphere!
Just look at the bougainvilleas...
with the red and yellows lanterns...
We couldn't resist not taking a picture or two...
We got some stuff for dinner this evening and off we went....
So convenient though the things here are a bit more pricey than the normal markets..

For our breakfast or should I say Lunch...
We drove to Wong Fee Kee in Bercham for lunch...
Each of us ordered a plate of noodles....
and we ordered some Roasted Pork to go with them....
Some "Tau Foo" as well...
 Crispy Beancurd skin....
and needless to say..
a bowl of curry pork skin and long beans...
Our first meal of the day!
The Food Session in IPOH has started!!

  7. All red except you. Why ah? So nice, everybody's home. Many young people these days would rather jet off some place on a holiday. You have such loving children.
