Yuk Sou Hin Restaurant In WEIL Hotel, Ipoh

I WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO A DELIGHTFUL BRUNCH AT WEIL HOTEL and I really appreciate my friend's arrangement to have it the very next day when I came back from Johor.  It was so nice of her to invite a few of us to Yuk Sou Hin, a Chinese fine dining restaurant in WEIL Hotel.   Situated at Level 1, these delightful Dim Sum and many other provincial Chinese cuisine are prepared by a Master Chef from Hong Kong Chung Ho Shi.

Together with a few of my friends, we were ushered to a private room and served individually with some of their signature dishes that made my eyes "sparkle" *as my friend used to describe me when food is concerned!*
Cantonese specialities and provincial Chinese cuisine are complemented by the harmonious convergence of elements in our signature Chinese Fine Dining restaurant at Level 1. Delightful Dim Sum for breakfast or multi-course delicacies with the freshest of ingredients fit for any festivity - discover an elevated refinement to traditional favourites prepared by our Chinese Master Chef at Yuk Sou Hin. - See more at: http://www.weilhotel.com/food-beverage/yuk-sou-hin#sthash.IwEKiymU.dp
Just by looking at the menu, it is enough to make my mouth water....
*Well, to be honest, it was my first meal of the day at that time*
"A fine balance of tastes, textures and aromas go into creating a memorable meal in a casual yet elegant setting."

Before the dishes were served, I was fascinated by the small dish on the table...
Very addictive appetizer consisting of onions, garlic, Sambal Hae Bee with crispy fried silver fish..
Another appetizer... guava with fresh lemon peel...
Our first serving...
Siew Mai with fish roe, Baked Crispy Honey Barbequed Pork Bun and Steamed Prawn Dumpling..
Juicy Siew Mai, I call this!
In Cantonese, this is called Suet San... meaning Snowy Mountain....
Steamed Vermicelli Roll with Scallops and Coriander
Double boiled minced pork soup ....
.......with Bamboo Fungus....
And their signature dish....
Smoked Duck With Lychee Wood!
Succulent dish!
How to resist???
Next..... Baked Silver Cod Fish with sweet pumpkin....
Blends very well with teriyaki sauce!
Braised Ee Fu noodles with prawns and mushrooms...
I guess I don't have to describe how it taste....
With toppings like this, just imagine.... hmmm....
A meal is not a meal without desserts... right?
Chilled Sea Coconut with Longer and Lemon Juice...
What a Fulfilling end to our set meal!
The Blessed Four!
The ladies with the one and only Master Chef of Yuk Sou Hin Restaurant....
Thank you for the scrumptious meal...
You will be seeing me again... oooppss.. not just me but with my Do-Re-Mi!

    1. Hello Anonymous, I am not sure how much this cost because we were invited for food tasting on that day... but I remember someone asking about it too... if not mistaken, it is RM69 or so per person... not sure whether this is the same set or not... anyway, you can call them up and ask if you are really interested... the number is listed above.. hope this helps...
