Steamed Rice And Chicken In Mini Cooker

I DON'T EAT OUT MOST OF THE TIME, only in the mornings or lunch... so most evenings, Reanaclaire does cook if nobody buys her dinner... hahahaa...  Since I have much free time now, I do like to venture into homecooking dishes and it is so unfortunate that my kids are not with me nowto enjoy MY homecooked food.... Not sure it is their loss, now come to think of it... It might be the other way round... hahahaha...  *Thank goodness we don't have to eat Mom's cooking!*  I wonder if they think like that... OK, I don't think they do cos they always say... Yummy, Mom... hehehee... Always trying to make their mom happy, I suppose!

I love this retirement gift very much, given by my colleague... she understands me very well... this mini cooker is very useful... suits me real fine!
I could steam a chicken drumstick using this mini cooker...
I marinated the chicken drumstick for a couple of hours
before steaming it together with the rice....
Save electricity and cleaning up wok!
I put a lot of red dates and wolfberries... so sweet and savoury at the same time...
Then some greens to balance up.....
Yes, corn soup too to sum them up together to make our dinner complete....
That was our dinner... for me and my girl!

  2. Ahhhhh!!!! I was just going to ask - you ate all that alone? Hmmm...I wonder how it is like when your girl is not home. When alone, I would just have some cookies or biscuits, eat bread...fry any leftover rice or cook instant noodles. So lazy to do anything.
