Plum Trees At The Ranch

MOST DAYS WE WILL BE OUT GARDENING especially in the mornings and late evenings when the sun is not that "fiery"... The weather now is getting warmer each day but pretty cooling when the sun sets... maybe now we are now adjusted to the weather, I do not need a sweater anymore during the day but I always wear one whenever I go to sleep....

I love the trees here... they bear lots of fruits... this time of the year, I can see plums ripening on the trees at the side of the house..........

They are not really ripe yet but we couldn't resist taking a few ones to eat....
In another one or two weeks... they might turn darker red....
Some are way too high....
The lower ones are not ripe though....
Hope the birds don't get them before we do...
We needed a ladder and a "climber"
Better pluck down the ripen ones before they get "pecked"
Good job, John Boy!
Have to be patient... just a few more days to go...
Never seen such lovelies on the trees before...
They are just looming above my head....
Trying one of the ripe ones...
Organic...no need to wash... just rub the fruit on my jeans and EAT it!
John Boy told us to wait a week more....
Alright, John-Boy....
We will wait for another week or two..
Before we can set up a stall....
Hahaaaa...
