ATTENDED A SPECIAL DINNER LAST NIGHT AT THE SYEUN HOTEL... Two of my ex-classmates are volunteers in the Perak Women For Women Society's organization, both of them are really dedicated, volunteering and dedicating their time in this non-profit and non-governmental organization. This PWW is set up in 2003 and their aim is to enhance the status and lives of women in Perak irrespective of race, religion and social background, hence the motto "Self Respect and Respect for Others."
Apart from that, PWW also helps and supports women and children in crisis such as victims of abuse, violence and discrimination. More details can be found at their Facebook page under Perak Women for Women Society.
And last night PWW held a charity dinner under the theme Make It Happen. Part of last night's happening was a special guest star Francissa Peter! I remember her powerful voice from the 1970s and she still has the same power when she delivered a few songs from her album...
She must be in her 50s or early 60s? Still looking good!
The dinner was a success...
