JB Ho Ho Steamboat For Six

WHAT A CUTE NAME FOR A STEAMBOAT RESTAURANT...  Seems it has opened a few branches across Malaysia but not one in Ipoh as yet.  My sons have been there several times already and they like it.  So this time I would not give it a miss, I must try it at least once!  Since it was a weekday, we did not have to wait long for the food to arrive.....
Friendly staff to take our orders...
There were six of us and we ordered the steamboat for 3 pax....
When it comes to steamboat, red hot pounded chillies must give the "kick"
I must put some into my soup, that's what I normally do.....
While waiting for the steamboat, we ordered some crispy fried fish to savour...
When the pot finally arrived, some of the goodies were put in...
I like the yam pieces and lots of vegetables....
Slowly does it....
Put in more.... and more.....
Our pot of Treasures....
Besides these for 6 persons, we ordered some "extras" too...
I didn't manage to capture the extras...
All were finished in no time...
Total cost came to around RM160 with fruit juices and tea...

  7. I like all the vegetables in your steamboat! Nice! I am very lazy to eat steamboat because got to cook and wait for the food to be cooked and then wait for the food to cool down before we can start eating them.

  9. Yummy! Yummy time with mummy! My wife and I are regular steamboat fans of any flavours!

I used to know the original bosses who started off their franchise by the name of "HO A-1 Steamboat" in Cheras and Taman Desa. They got daily fresh seafood supplies from Pulau Ketam which attracted so many diners. That was a decade ago and the name switched to HoHo eventually. I don't know this part of later stories.
