Metro Planner To The Rescue Travel Plans

When I returned from my free and easy Europe trip last year, many of my friends were amazed that I managed to go for my three weeks holiday on wheelchair.  They asked me lots of questions, from the time I boarded the plane, transit at Amsterdam and proceeded Aberdeen, Scotland.  Thinking back, I also wondered how I got through that three weeks holidays with a cast on my leg.  Two days prior to my Europe trip, I had a fall one evening, landed in hospital for one night and the next morning I was discharged with an advice from the doctor, no walking or running for the next six months.  Yes, my ankle had a crack that needed operation but I did not go ahead with it because I was looking forward to my planned Europe trip!

To cut the story short, I flew to Aberdeen for ten days to rest and relax under the watchful eyes of my son and my friend.  After the ten days, we flew to Aberdeen and from there, we visited another three countries, all on our own!  I give all credit to my son who has planned from A to Z, flights, transport, accommodation and places to visit.  He has done a lot of "travel homework" before the trip and everything has gone on very smoothly.  I did not do anything at all, just sit back and relax and be "pushed" on wheels.

For many of us who love to travelling on our own time and pleasure, it is now made easy with a Metro Planner.  No more worries about getting lost in a new place or where to go next, we can actually refer to this Metro Planner.  It helps to plan our trips so that we have nothing else to worry anymore.  All we have to do is to decide when and where we are going to travel, choose a date and time suitable for us.  After choosing our starting landmark, we choose on where we want to go.  That is what my son did too when he planned our holiday in Amsterdam followed by Frankfurt, Paris and Brussels

How to use Metro Planner?  Just log into their website, there is more info here.  Briefly on how to use, keep these information tips in mind.

Be as detailed as possible, for example, enter the address of the place we are going to, input it in the planner.  We can also choose landmark categories such as the name of the malls or beaches so that we know which station is near our destination.  We can also choose the mode of travel, either the rail or bus systems, just key in what we opt for.  And not only that, we can also decide which fare class we belong to, there are appropriate discounts to be given accordingly.

There are a lot more of details and information written in their website which I find rather useful for avid travellers like you and me.  Trips which we like to plan on our own without following those guided tours which used to stress me up especially during the morning calls.  I like to travel on my own pleasure and leisure these days especially now at my age.  In fact a lot of people love to travel on their own time and going to places where guided tours never take us before.  Blend in with the locals, go to places where locals go, eat at the places where locals eat, this is what I call a Real Holiday!
