Endless Food In Ipoh

MY FRIEND WANTED MALAYSIAN FOOD... well, we did not have enough time to cover much cultural food except for Chinese.  If she stays a week more, perhaps then we could have go for Malay and Indian food around here in Ipoh.  And IF she stays for another week, most probably or should I say, FOR SURE, I could gain another one or two kilos at least!   She has stayed with me for five days and all we did was to Eat and Be Merry..... hahahaha...

During normal days I take only breakfast and a light dinner... but not while my guest was around, we ended up taking breakfast, lunch, dinner plus supper!!  Here are some pictures to show what we have consumed in a day....

Canning Garden Chee Cheong Fun opposite the padang....
For lunch we had a light one in Parkson Grand food court...
Teochew Cendul from Penang Road...
I still prefer the original one at Penang Road....
As for dinner, we went to Buntong noodles in town....
Ordered 10 sticks of satay as appetizers....
Mixture of yellow noodles with mihoon....
It looked kind of messy but it was quite tasty...
I opted for plain mihoon....
Our scrumptious dinner... missing on the table was a bowl of beef soup...
And now for supper... we went to Ipoh Garden gourmet square...
Ended up ordering something light... Popiahs!
And a bowl of Ice Kacang for my friend, not me.... phewww....
I ordered a glass of lemon juice for myself....
Really cannot afford to eat like this each day...
hahahaha....

  2. Yes, lots of nice things to eat in Ipoh...but I can see that you usually stick to your favourites. I would do the same as well, I guess...most of the time.

  3. It is like that. Having a guest over, all you could do is "makan" and sight-seeing. Definitely gain weight with all those good and tasty Malaysian food. Haha.

  4. Gosh, I haven't been to Ipoh for years! Love seeing the food in M'sia as a lot of them share similar names but quite different style from ours. Have an awesome weekend, dear! xoxo
