VIP Comes Visiting To Ipoh

A NICE MESSAGE CAME TO MY WATSAPP ON A SUNDAY NIGHT saying "Going Ipoh tomorrow, good night"... Wow, great!  Good news for I am looking forward to receiving my "goodies" from her... hahahaha... Yes, straightforward me!  I know that she has prepared yummy dumplings which she showed on Facebook and greedy me, I was yearning to taste them!

I did not know exactly what time they would be coming so I went to do my errands on Monday.  When I received her message, I was half an hour away from where they were taking their lunch.  I sped like Formula Two and when I reached Woolley, I smelled something very fragrant.  Just couldn't resist the fragrant and ended up getting one packet as desserts.

Just in time for them to have for desserts....
Even small J expressed his pleasure... but not sure he took or not...
hahahahaa...
I was kind of "distracted" by this sweet lady whom I met for the very first time...
Though I heard her name being mentioned in the Facebook many times...
Glad to finally meet you, LS...
Lunch was finally over and after I collected my "goodies".. we went our separate ways..
hehehee....
We met up again in the evening for Dinner!!
I took them or rather they took me to Sun Tuck Kee along Jalan Theatre...
OK, I guided the driver to be more exact....
We just ordered something simple....
Fried noodles...
Koay Teow in egg gravy...
Five fishballs...
(cannot order six or seven)
Either five or ten or fifteen...
Blanched Octopus...
And braised chicken legs...
The youngest one ate them all...
Unbelievable!
This auntie here managed to eat two claws only...
hahahahaa...
I have a picture to prove that.... the plate was just right in front of him...
Happily he gobbled down the claws... very clever of him to spit out the bones too!
Well, for one thing... I was not full yet....
Shall we go for another meal?
Yes, we certainly did adjourn to another shop!
Hot Pot Fish in town...  *Yue Tau Loe*
Boiling hot.... be careful.....
And a side dish to go with the hot pot.... Salted egg chicken...
Oh, another plate of fried noodles which I did not manage to take...
And after our two Dinners at one go,
I guess I earned another kilogram that day!
Thank you for coming to Ipoh, friends...
Thank you for your "Goodies" Kathy!
Hope we will meet up again.....

  6. Little J eats chicken feet?? I'm sufficiently impressed! I still avoid them like the plague, old boy such as I am now. :/
