Face To Face With Sarawakian Food

WOKE UP WITH A STARTLE... oh my, it was 9.20am!! How did I manage to sleep through the half morning?  Wake up, Sleepy Jean... time to start out a new morning... Oh, then I realize that it must be the quietness and the peacefulness over here....

Alright, get up Lazy Bum... and start working!  By the time I finish what I am supposed to do, I lay in wait for my SIL to pick me up for our first meal of the day.  Our appointment is always around noon... we work at a very slow and relaxing pace.... hahahaaa...

We went to a shop called Face-2-Face.... upon entering, we kind of shivered... the fans were at a full blast motion, air con was on and it was drizzling outside... Both of us were so Cold and Hungry!  Quickly we made our orders and within minutes our food were being served... I think I made history in taking the pictures just now... Fast and Furious so that we could dig in the food!!

The ambiance is nice.... green and soothing to the eyes... and cold!
This came first.... Garlic Chives Dumplings... So crispy and tasty!
I super Like!
Pan Mee with a different kind of sauce... Nice, Nice!
My order.... Sarawak Noodles!  Super Nice... the lard was tastefully obvious!
Came with two mini balls... and hands were shaking by then...
We ordered extra bowl of soup... Sayur Manis with golden eggs....
Taste Sedap and Nice!
Our first proper meal for today.... for Two!
Wahhhhh.. Everything tasted Super Nice...
Cos both of us were Super Hungry!
Quickly I put away my hp and dug in the food...
Within minutes, all vanished leaving the empty bowls... all RM26 of food!
Who says aunties cannot eat much?
After our first meal, we went for the second...
If you could guess what we took next, I am gonna give you a prize!
hahahahaa...

  11. Hahaha, sorry, I read your next post before this one, so... no prize for me :P

I like that pan mee sauce too, especially those crunchy bits. If you miss it, you can find it in Penang also, at those shops in One World.
