Great Day Great Meal At Tea Garden, Johor

FIRST MORNING IN JOHOR... woke up to a quiet house, my son has left for work and I took my own sweet time to move around the place. This is the kind of life I like, slow pace for an elderly lady. hahahahaa... I just cannot hurry myself anymore.  Walk also slow, cannot afford to quicken the steps like those days.  One really has to be very careful, no more walking on bare feet but with soft slippers around... hahahaa.. I really do sound like an old lady... oh dear!

At around noon, I was picked up to go for the first meal of the day.  I was given a choice to pick, so nice of my SIL... and at that moment of time, the curry noodles in Tea Garden flashed across my mind... and so Tea Garden it is!

Nice weather today... and we got to park at our car at a shaded place opposite this...
Next to the Tea Garden is the Bank of China...
Never seen this bank before cos Ipoh does not have one yet...
The sideview of The Tea Garden...
Desserts corner...
Since there were only two of us, we could not order a bit of everything to try....
though my eyes were eyeing from east to west...
A hot and fresh egg tart to start off....
My SIL wanted something simple... Chee Cheong Fun Johor style...
For the Ipohian, she was yearning for curry chicken mee....
And got questioned why I prefer to eat curry in Johor?
Perhaps the food on the other side of the mountain is more special...
Indeed it is... I like this taste of curry... not-as-spicy as the ones in Ipoh...
These are for mouth washing after the savoury meal...
Tapioca with fresh coconut... fresh and nice...
Agree completely....
I certainly had a Great Meal to start off another Beautiful Day!

  9. Really been so long ago since I last visited Tea Garden. Looks not the same to me at all. I don't remember Tea Garden having those pastry counter. Hmm... if I ever have to spend a few weeks in JB again, I will come here for weekend breakfast.
