Malaysian Food At Imperial Palace Restaurant, Edinburgh

FELLOWSHIP WITH FOOD.....

Before we left Edinburgh, a family of three invited the three of us to a scrumptious dinner at Imperial Palace restaurant.  Using GPS, Aaron managed to find this beautiful chinese restaurant owned by a Sabahan, so it seems.  His friend highly recommended this restaurant and ordered these yummy dishes to satisfy our tummies before we bade goodbye to Edinburgh.

Aubergine with minced meat and salted fish....a real appetizing dish!
So Malaysian!!
Yong Tau Foo is not excluded.... So nicely cooked to perfection!
Mixture of three types of meat...roasted pork, bbq char siew and roasted duck!
Even kangkung is availabe here....sambal kangkung, no joke!
Claypot benacurd with meat....
What a appetizing dinner!!  Total cost?  No, we did not ask the host....
We were indeed very thankful and blessed with a sumptuous dinner...
Bading goodbye to Edinburgh, we reached Aberdeen around 10pm plus....
A very interesting and fruitful day trip indeed for us!

  2. The food looked good. Not cheap considering a Chinese restaurant over there. Kangkung!! Must fly over to have fresh stock all the time.

  9. Food fit for a King! Drooling.

I thought aubergine with minced meat and salted fish is a regional dish from China.

    1. Is the aubergine with minced meat and salted fish normally cooked with "muy heung hom yee”/fermented and salted fish or a 'copy cat of such fish' by households?

    2. We cook that in malaysia too.. We call them brinjals over here... Not aubergine.. Or maybe this aubergine is rounder and shorter than the local ones..
