Stonehaven is a pretty harbour town south of Aberdeen, famous for its Hogmanay fireballs ceremony. Attractive Stonehaven has a sheltered working harbour busy with sailing yachts. The Tolbooth museum is a notable building on the quayside, from where boat trips run to see the legions of feathered friends at Fowlsheugh RSPB reserve, home to the largest seabird colony in mainland Britain.
It was almost 8 by then....
Sitting here and enjoying the dusk....
So blue and serene....
Panorama scenic....
At the fishing town.....
Kids were out to play....
Time to take a break...
The kids in their own world... No iPad ... Just the sand....
Stonehaven Harbour....
Across the harbour, the locals chilled out at The Ship Inn....
Took some pics before leaving.....
Yes, my son must have brightened up the pictures.....
My last post on Stonehaven... Indeed a haven for locals and us....
Tranquility all round.
