My couple friends readily agreed to my suggestion when I told them about the dinner in Gopeng. And not only that, they came all the way from their house which is 20 minutes drive and fetched us to go Gopeng which is another half an hour away, depending on the traffic. By the time we reached Kristal Jade, it was almost 7.45pm....just nice for our tummies to be growling with hunger and each and every dish, we salivated over it!
This is the shop... Kristal Jade in Gopeng...
Oh, the boss personally came and served us cos he knows my friend.
and he recommended the following dishes for the four of us.....
As appetizers, this came out first...
It is a cold dish and they do not have this every day....
Pork belly with hidden jelly fungus beneath...
The meat was tender.... the skin was springy...
Together it goes into the mouth...
hmmmm.....
Wo..wo.. yae yae... what more I can say?
Oh wait... We must dip it into these special sauce...
Ok, now have to sing again...
Wo Wo Yae Yae... I love you more than I can say...
LOL...
For bitter gourd lovers, this vegetable blends well with some chunks of fish....
The sauce itself goes very well with our white rice....
Meat again... this time with the Braised Yam...
Must-not-miss-dish!
Another appetizing dish that goes very well with our plate of rice...
Rice, Rice, I simply love Rice!
Oh yes, another green dish... four greens in fact...
Long beans, 4 angle beans, okra and stinky beans aka petai!
Yes, they do blend well together....
Our scrumptious meal for the four of us...
As for the cost, it came to around RM70 with drinks....
Many thanks to my friends who gave this treat...
I sing this again....
Wo Wo Yae Yae...
THANK YOU is what I Love to Say!!
Looks like this was one of your favorite of all meals!!!
