So much has changed... for one, no more outdoor theme park for now till next year. Secondly, there are so many shops now and that includes eatery stalls as well and we were amazed to see so many people even though it was a weekday and not even holiday season yet. I cannot imagine how the crowd would be if it is a school holiday.... there were just endless tourists from overseas filling up the area..... Really an eye opener for us... Gentings is indeed one main attraction in Malaysia, no doubt about that....
We spent a couple of hours walking and walking... and we were loving that... that means food for our hungry tummies later without feeling heavy! LOL....
Here are some pictures taken in the one of the biggest hotel in the world, First World Hotel...
Saw Ah Yat Abalone... but no winnings as yet so we didn't go in.. LOL...
We ended up eating at Hoe Sek Restaurant...
The prices are very standardized..
Each plate is around RM21...
Just look at the Giant Bowl!
But amazingly I could finish all of it without sharing... LOL....
Our walks up and down the whole area....
The endless shops and the resting for the tired...
And for the Vain, more and more poses here and there and everywhere...
LOL....
Can see you gals had a great time. Wah. really crowded leh. I haven't been there for ages.
ReplyDeleteIt has been 6 years since my last visit...

DeleteIndeed... I was also lost if not for the guide.. hahaaa
DeleteI like that Halloween Decoration, so nice...
ReplyDeleteYeah cute in a way..
DeleteYou look so slim, where go 30 inches waist, more like 28 inches. I find food in Genting very expensive. The last time I went there was in 2008 which is 8 years ago.
ReplyDeleteMine was in 2010.. oh my waist.. kind of hidden... :)
DeleteThis is all totally amazing! You would have to stay a long time to get everything done that you would like.
ReplyDeleteYeah, It would be great if we could stay longer... just relaxing there..
DeleteHave not been to Genting since my girl was still little. In the 90's. I wonder when/if I'll ever get to go there again. Would love to very much.
ReplyDeleteYou should... Perhaps go as a family.. enjoy while you can! :)
DeleteNice shots! Your initial blunder has turned out to be a blessing in disguise ... Get to spend time with good friends in Genting 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
ReplyDeleteTrue, true.. never thought the outcome would be wonderful as this!
DeleteI actually enjoy walking around the shops and hotel very much. Would you believe that some crazy days, my wife and I would just drive all the way up to have Starbucks at Genting, relax and do some work from lap top. After dinner, we would drive back home to KL. It was my wife's idea to change our mundane routine doing work online. LOL
ReplyDeleteWow.. I love this change too.. yes, for KL-lites, driving up to Gentings is just an hour away, right?
DeleteNow I cannot wait to revisit Genting!! Nice photos.
ReplyDeleteSo many people there even on a weekday.
I love the view from the hotel room. It was a good and fun trip with great company.
ReplyDeleteThe last time I went Genting was in 2014, normally I stayed at First World Hotel, that time when I went with my friend, we went to the Karaoke to sing our hearts out, we also did some shopping and we played a short while at the Casino, can't remember did we win, Genting is a nice place for relaxing, but some said the weather there not as cooling as last time le
ReplyDeleteSo far in my life I went Genting about four times I think, 2006, 2010, 2011 and 2014. Seems like I will visit there every 4 years
Thanks for sharing all the nice photos
