Swimming Is Hers, Reading Is Mine

TIME FOR HER TO DESTRESS... BY SWIMMING!  While she swims, I read... that is the least I can do since I am not a swimmer and I wish I know how.  Why do I have water phobia?  I just cannot breathe when I am in a pool surrounded by the bluish water... why am I like that?  Swimming is a good form of exercise, all the limbs in our bodies are involved, from the head to the legs, from the left to the right, it is all good!  Is it too late for me to learn now?  Definitely a NO... but for me, it is a Yes!  I am so SCARED of water!

But I could do one thing here.... dip myself in the Jacuzzi which is around one foot deep, yeah... that will be fine for me... for now.... meanwhile, I can only "enjoy" the pool breeze with the sun setting right into my eyes....
Taken facing against the sun... it was after 6pm....
Too glaring for me.... and I walked around taking some pictures before I settled down...

Instead of swimming, I followed the swimmer by footsteps.... North...
South....
Facing me....
Un-facing me.....
I cannot swim and that is the reason why she must Know....
And I am glad she does!

Well, I really wish I could join her in the water....
But for now, reading will be just FINE!

  1. She has the pool all to herself! So your company is good. They say do not swim alone, in case of cramps or something. So you are watching over her. As for YOU swimming...you do so much walking and other exercise that it is O.K. if you do not swim.

  8. I am not a strong swimmer. I would like to conquer my fear of the deep end due to a long standing accident. I miss swimming in a warm sea.

    1. Oh sea is more dangerous I guess..sometimes we do not know the currents in the water..

  9. Yes, swimming in the sea can be more dangerous but I take calculated risk. I swam a lot in the Mediterranean sea last summer. In one stretch of the sea, the water was freezing cold even on a hot blazing day. It was ok when one was active while thermal waves in another part of the Mediterrean sea kept the water at a comfortable temperature even in winter.

  10. Swimming is the best exercise that could tone whole body at one go. That would help us to look slimmer in the quickest way. There is a huge pool right outside my front door yet I hardly swim. Excuses excuses!
