Two Meals At Tea Garden, Johor

MY GIRL HAD NOT BEEN TO JOHOR FOR MORE THAN A YEAR..... During that one year, I have been posting up what I have eaten in JB and those food made her "salivate" and now she has her "food vengence!"  LOL... Though she has only two weeks break, she managed to persuade me to drive all the way to JB, she told me that she missed the little nest and also her brother whom she has not seen ever since CNY last year.  These two reasons managed to touch my heart.... LOL...

And so one fine morning last week, these two ladies braved through the 5-6 hours drive, all the way from Ipoh to Johor... for the very first time!  Drizzling all the way nevertheless, we arrived safely and the food adventure began the very next day... Yes, I have been posting up the foodventures in my previous posts and in this post, there are two meals accumulated at the same place but on different days.  Tea Garden is one of her choices in this trip itinerary....
The place was very crowded on a Sunday... tables were all occupied
and we had to wait for a short while for one...
Andy's choice for curry noodles...
And my choice of Nasi Lemak with fried chicken this time instead of Rendang...
Shared with my girl...
She preferred Toasted Bread with a half-boiled egg and another piece with Kaya and Butter...
Our favourite sponge cake...
And Portugese Egg Tart...

Then on another day which was a weekday, we came here again... just the of us....
She had bread again!  Yes, she is a bread lover...
Whereas I ordered something spicy....
Two pieces of Prata which is shared... of course...
Came with a bowl of chicken curry....
And some steamed tapioca as desserts....
Somehow.. both of us managed to finish them all...
A very "Flour-ful" meal indeed...
Twice within a week...
Ok, no more Tea Garden for this trip... till the next!

  1. Their food looks really, really good! No wonder your daughter wanted it so much. It was well worth the drive. A very nice reunion with her brother in a beautiful and yummy place.
