This place is called Sugar Bowl, it is a ski and snowboard area in northern Placer County, along the Donna Pass of the Sierra Nevada. Sugar Bowl was the first ski area to install a chairlift and the scenery here is simply breathtaking! I don't know when I would be coming by here again, thus the endless pictures to commemorate this beautiful tourist resort.....
Upon arriving at the entrance...
The Gondola where skiers were being carried down to the snowy mountains for skiing..
We didn't go down the mountains via the gondola... too much for me... LOL...
I prefer to be mesmerized by these awesome scenic from where I stood...
The scenery was indescribable....
Love this one Most!
As usual... my footprints....
And my crazy poses which slowly "spread" to my siblings....
No sooner, they were doing what I did in mine... LOL...
Did you ski? Come. come, show video!!! LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteWanna hurt my leg again!!! No way la....
DeleteSome of the pose, makes me think of SK and TM, hehe...
ReplyDeleteSame same... Lol...
DeleteI believe I can fly! Your poses seem to be saying. Your siblings must be thinking - can't beat her so join her lah. Thanks for showing us the beautiful scenery. Must be very cold up there.
ReplyDeleteYeah, cold up there... Three layers!
DeleteLovely mountains and blue sky, I once tried to ski at Canada, Whistler Mountain and another time in Korea, both times during their winter time
ReplyDeleteNever tried... Scared of falling...
DeleteSo beautiful Claire! My favorite is your favorite. I love that little lake down there. So you do not ski..me neither. The first time I tried was the last, as I fell on my butt before I even started.
ReplyDeleteI am very scared of falling esp. After my fracture...
