By the time we reached the island, it was almost... almost time for dinner. After checking in to the hotel, we adjourned for food and more food at this food paradise island...
First stop at Free School Garden food court, it opens day and night, plenty of varieties over there at the stalls, only problem is that the stomach cannot fill in much... LOL... I think it is something to do with age.. my age, I mean.. My eyes are wide but the mouth is too small...
Ended up taking a plate of Fried Koay Teow... RM6 or RM7
And steamed crabs which cost RM64!
Went to Chulia Street for more food... it is famous for Wanton noodles..
But stomach cannot put in anymore main meal...
Wanted something lighter ...
A better choice with a mixture of fish and greens...
RM5 for 11 pieces and I love the generous crispy garlic toppings...
Next morning we went to Pulau Tikus...
One of the coffeeshops famous for their Fried Mee... RM6
Hokkien prawn noodles RM6
One whole egg!
Very tasty too...
We ordered a bowl of Koay Teow Th'ng to share...
And we could not resist the Pasembur as well.... RM9.50
For afternoon tea, I had Laksa at Ayer Itam... Rm4
Too full for anything else...
Then later at night we went to Jelutong Market for Koay Kak...
And vegetarian meehoon which is quite popular around that area....
Ended the meal with sweet dessert called "Everything IN"
A mixture of 10 ingredients or more.... RM4
Monday morning before we depart, we had Dim Sum at Macalister Road...
And reached Ipoh around noon...
This is our "Weekend Indulgence"...
