Dinner At Rennori Japanese Restaurant At Pengkalan Putra, Ipoh

SLUMBER OUTSIDE MY HOME...

During my younger days, teenage days to be more exact, I love to go over to my classmate's home to "slumber" during weekends.  Oh, not very often, once a blue moon only especially when there was some birthday gathering in the house and we have to stay to clean up the place when the party ended.  A few of us would squeeze into her humble room, two on the single bed and two on a floor mattress and there was no such thing as "uncomfortable..."

Now I am older, I still love to go over to my old friend's humble home to slumber... LOL... I still go and vice versa.  On that particular evening, I went over and we had dinner at a new Japanese restaurant near her place.  It is called Rennori along Jalan Pengkalan 1, same row with Manhattan Hotel and Pengkalan 66 food court.

My friend told me that the food is so-so but I might have a different opinion, so she said.  Anyway, I don't mind eating Japanese, my girl has already "taught" me how to enjoy the food after all these years.
Upon entering, these caught my eyes... hung up just above me....

Nice and quiet ambience... clean too...
And our order began with fried garlic rice for her....
A Bento set which comes with a bowl of soup and fruits...
While I had a few choices of sushi....
Unagi...
I forgot what I ordered actually...
I ordered a California roll too...
Or was it something else... I really could not remember...
Oh, Don't be startled...
The above food was for three persons... LOL...
And the total bill came to around RM70 plus...
Oh me, oh my....

  1. Since no raw food, you can eat all the food with ease, right? rice rolls are so easy to eat, one piece one mouthful.

  3. I love the umbrellas! And the food is done beautifully! Quite white and spartan, and that shows how clean and organized it is. This place is a winner!

  4. Haven't had Japanese since the very good one here called it a day. My girl will still go to another one here, not me.
