My girl loves anything steamed... fried stuff is a No-No for her and a Yes-Yes for me though I am doing my best to refrain from them. We did not cook at home on this particular evening so I suggested going for some steamed food in Pasir Pinji. It was drizzling when we set out and by the time we were seated, the rain began to pour. Thank God we were not caught in the rain.... and it was only 5pm then! We were the first customers of the day and in no time our food were served on the table.
We ordered two pieces of steamed fish...
Yes, one for each of us...
My girl loves the yam and so do I...
Part of the porkie goes into a doggy bag...
I ordered lettuce but this came instead...
Never mind, just eat what is served....
And their double-boiled Salted Vege soup with beancurd...
Something sourish for more appetite....
Both of us are good eaters, agree?
We finished the food except for a bit of porkie...
And the whole meal here cost RM44...
Alright... that is all for one evening..
For the Next evening, we have to do our homecooking....
Fried items is a love and hate for me as after eating the fried items, have to work hard by exercising more...
ReplyDeleteI like the simple meal and yes, quite a lot for two persons. I give my seal of approval LOL!
ReplyDeleteGood food for dinner! Price is not too bad too.
ReplyDeleteMy girl loves anything deep fried. That pork and yam dish is braised or stewed, not steamed leh?
ReplyDeleteI like all the dishes
ReplyDeleteThe steamed fish looks the best to me! What time does it get dark there?
ReplyDeleteThe price is reasonable.
