A Fattening Evening At Pasir Pinji And Inside Scoop, Ipoh

GROWING SIDEWAYS!

Late dinner means slower to digest... and slower to digest mean more fats embedded in the body..  LOL...

Normally I take my dinner around 5pm or 6pm the latest if I cook, but on this particular day I had a late lunch and naturally my dinner was much later than usual.  It was almost 8pm when we passed by this open air restaurant at Pasir Pinji.  Sorry, I did not catch the name of this place, formerly it was known as Pulau Sembilan and now it has changed to something else.  This place is usually crowded during dinner time but since we were a bit late, we could find a place very easily...
We ordered their signature dish... Steamed Fish...
Obviously the fish is "drowned" by the generous portion of the sauce...
Young potato leaves which cost only RM5 for this evening....

And instead of rice, we ordered a plate of koay teow to share....
Refrained from eating too full... Seriously??
Nay, I wanted to keep some space for supper!
For these three dishes, we paid RM31....
Cheap? Or expensive?  LOL.. .
And the night is complete with three scoops of different flavours ice cream
Inside Scoop located at De Gardens!
Now you know why I said Growing Sideways!!

  1. Cheap! You won't grow sideways after eating ice cream late at night if you burn it all of by exercising even later into the night, hahahaha!

  2. That sure is a different colour, the steamed fish. Curry sauce? Portuguese steamed fish sauce?
