Actually I had totally forgotten all about the lobster which was frozen in one the fridge drawers until I was rummaging through them one day. And the very next evening, we had it for our dinner with some leftover curry, blanched broccoli and wraps. I did not know what to do with the lobster, I just steamed it in the wok.... no egg white, ginger or wine, nothing, I just dumped it into the wok... and waited for some minutes....
It came with a big claw.... greyish in colour..
And after steaming, it turned to this....
Our dinner for the evening....
That is the end of the seafood season...
The fisherman told us we have to wait till after winter...
Seriously, we can go without that...
The lobster is for namesake, more or less taste like prawns...
We definitely can go without that without missing it...
LOL...
I didn't know lobster can be frozen! It looks very good. Here, it is popular to dip in in melted butter.
ReplyDeleteMust be cheap there. Yes, they taste like big prawns.
ReplyDeletePrawns are nicer than lobsters but less snob appeal so cheaper. That huge one you had would cost a bomb here!

ReplyDeleteLooks tasty! Did I read correctly that it has only one claw? What happened to the other claw?
