What I meant was their flight reached Ipoh around lunch time. Once they landed, I took Andy and his girlfriend for lunch at a nearby restaurant called Tuck Kee in Pasir Pinji. I was also hungry by then.... to our surprise, the restaurant was really packed! We managed to get a small corner table for us three, we ordered a few dishes and it was a short wait even though the restaurant was crowded. Good! By then the three of us were really hungry!
We ordered a platter of just duck and roasted pork....
Andy wanted this.... squid dish...
And his favorite Lor Hon Chai....
It would be better if there is some wet sauce... a bit too dry here...
I think I can do better... LOL...
And a plate of their famous fried Sang Mee...
This lunch meal for 3 came to around RM100....
Big portions...
We could not finish the squid dish until the next day....
The duck looks tasty! Direct to lunch is the way to go. You must be so happy to see Andy and his girlfriend and vice versa.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a really nice and filling meal. But that one dish DOES look very dry.
