DINING OUT.... Went out with my friends for lunch and dinner in both different places on different days.
This was taken in Bercham GP food court on a Sunday afternoon...
For this set of rice, it came to RM12...
For this plate of meat alone, it cost RM10...
The price is quite reasonable...
Roasted pork is nice and crispy...
But the sausage is not so nice...
The meat was hard and tough...
And for a senior like me, I had a tough time chewing it to bits...
LOL....
Then yesterday evening, I went out for dinner with my friends to Buntong, famous for the Wanton noodles. I was told that before the Covid pandemic, this shop would be filled with patrons even before they start cooking. Nowadays, of course, it is very much quieter, we were the first one to arrive even though it was around 6pm... Much has changed since the pandemic....
My 3 friends ordered the dried version....
And I tried the soupy base Wanton noodles....
Yes, it was very tasty...
Yes, it was very tasty...
Next time I will go for the soupy noodles again!
This is my favourite place whenever I want to eat wonton noodle.
ReplyDeleteThe RM12 set meal is so cheap. I should move to Bercham.
ReplyDeleteThe dry wanton noodles look so pale without dark gravy unlike those here in kl. I would order soupy version like you did.
ReplyDeleteReasonable price for the meat platter. I dont mind soupy wanton mee for a change some day.
ReplyDeleteI thought the sausage would be nice, regret to hear that it is disappointing. Been very long since I ate soupy version of wanton noodles.
ReplyDeleteNowi am wondering why half of the meat is a different color! I have never seen anything like it!
ReplyDeleteToo bad the sausage was hard. I think the wanton noodles look quite different from the ones i had in KL, so long ago, can't remember,
ReplyDeleteI would love the dried version too. :D
ReplyDeletei prefer the dried version wanton noodles.....looks good!
