Quickly I sprang up... no joke, really like spring one! LOL... Hopefully no backaches later.... LOL... We were supposed to go out at 8.30am and in a matter of minutes, I was ready to be fetched... Can get ready very fast regardless of my senior age. LOL...
And off we went, the three of us had breakfast at Hao Teng restaurant, a 25-30 minutes drive through the town, crossing endless traffic lights to Station 18, Pengkalan. Oh yeah... Ipoh has no new cases for the past few days, good news to many of us and I hope it stays that way. Existing cases are still around 40 as of yesterday.
There are coffeeshops around the area and we settled for this one....
Drinks were served fast....
I had barley with gingko....
I notice beaten egg too inside this dessert too...
Good that it is not too sweet, much to my liking...
I ordered Pan Mee...
Nothing much to shout about actually....
Cost RM5.50...
My friend ordered Wanton noodles.... RM7.90
Which was quite reasonable....
Prawns and minced meat wantons...
This is Fish Head noodles... RM11...
And there are only 2 pieces of fish served...
It was quite a big bowl actually....
My friend couldn't finish all the noodles...
Portions are big here, I have skipped lunch...
I went to get some groceries after our breakfast...
Bought two packets of salad greens from Jaya Jusco...
Two boxes for RM7 which is a good deal...
No prize for guessing what's for dinner tonight!
LOL...
WHAT??? 8.10 and you are still in bed? Waiyor!!! Your life is so so so good! LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear about the virsu, that is good news. Have you gotten a vaccine yet?
ReplyDeleteWish I could wake up that late. LOL :D
ReplyDeleteI mean I want to retire too.
Breakfast food looks tasty especially the ginkgo barley tong sui. Cannot keep salad for long, usually must eat within one day.
ReplyDeleteThat was big bowl!!!
ReplyDeleteFish noodle looks delicious.
ReplyDelete8.30am is still early for me, lol! My uncle had gone for vaccine, he took both the doses already while my mom took the first dose already.
ReplyDeleteIn SG, now is usually import cases, no community cases.
